This is your opportunity to join a small, tightknit team based in Wellington CBD and begin your career in government providing ministerial services.
We're looking for a Ministerial Officer to join the tight knit Performance Systems team in delivering high quality ministerial services to the business.
As the Ministerial Officer, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the process of answering Ministerials and other official correspondence from the Team Leader and Senior Ministerial Advisor.
Your role encompasses everything from administrative support, coordination and drafting of ministerial correspondence. As the Ministerial Officer, you'll support the overall capability of the team and ensure high quality and consistent advice is provided.
If you have excellent written communication, relationship management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, then we want to hear from you.

The ability to quickly assimilate new information and relevant areas of work
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
A high level of resilience and the ability to cope with multiple priorities, shown through your can-do attitude

Your development will be supported by the Senior Ministerial Advisor and the Team Leader Ministerial Services, as well as by the wider Performance Systems team.
The salary range for this position is $53,000 to $65,000.
