Registered Nurse, Mental Health - Acute Adult Inpatient
Te Whetu Tawera (1.0FTE)
We are looking for great nurses to join our inpatient team.
Te Whetu Tawera(TWT) is Auckland District Health Board's 58 bed adult, inpatient mental health unit. Situated in the heart of Auckland, our purpose-built, free-standing unit is on the grounds of the Auckland City Hospital with superb access to public transport, close to several major shopping and entertainment centres and adjacent to the Auckland Domain.
TWT provides a hospital-based continuum of care for adults, 18-65, with complex psychiatric problems in our 3 wards: a 12 bed psychiatric intensive care (ICU) and two 23 bed open wards. Our recovery approach supports and complements the community mental health services of the ADHB.

Registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current Practicing Certificate are essential.
New Zealand Mental Health RN graduates from 1995 forward must have completed a NESP program.
