About the role Monday – Friday
Hamilton based
Lead a team of support workers
Focus of role is covering a variety of mental health patients
40 hours per week

3 days wellbeing leave annually
Smaller caseload than comparative DHB roles creating better work/life balance
What you have to do Service mental health and AOD patients on their journey
Goal Planning
Report writing
1:1 and group assessments for your clients
Work towards creating and implementing a high functioning MDT
Provide expertise in your field to support workers to ensure best practice techniques are implemented across the residents' journey
Service patients from all walks of life. A particular passion for Maori and Pasifika health outcomes would be advantageous
Skills and Experience Relevant healthcare tertiary qualification like nursing and social work is paramount
Registered with governing bodies such as the NZ Nursing Council or Social Workers Board is a must
Experience in mental health is seen as advantageous
Resilient, solutions focused professionals are needed in this position
Experienced in writing goal plans with effective reporting skills
Knowledge of community agencies
Culturally respectful and non-judgemental candidates are essential
