Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position) In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services are delivered by an established multi-disciplinary team based at the Wairau Hospital in Blenheim. This team delivers a comprehensive clinical resource to those affected by acute or enduring severe mental illness. As a Mental Health Assistant your role is to support the work of a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Dieticians. You will be working under the supervision and direction of registered health professionals. This may include working with challenging behaviours. The salary range for this role is $59,024 to $74,442 (effective 1 April 2024) based on the current Public Health Nursing Collective Agreement, depending on relevant qualifications and experience.
