Mental Health Act Administrator - Special Mental Health and Addictions Services24 hours per week, Monday to FridayBased in TakapunaAre you looking for the next step in your administration career, undertaking a role that offers variety and flexibility?This role offers both, covering multiple community sites across the Waitemata region, as well as offering flexibility with your working days and hours.We are looking to recruit experienced administration officers to join our Mental Health Act Team. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act would be an advantage; however, training will be provided for the successful candidate.As part of the Mental Health Act administration team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of the mental health act. Your key responsibility is to ensure that the Mental Health Act legislation is documented and implemented correctly. This will be done in consultation with the clinical teams, Director of Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS), clients, their whanau, courts, and legal representatives.To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised, good with processes, and be able to solve problems as they arise.
