About City Doctors White Cross- Palmerston City Doctors White Cross provides comprehensive urgent care services for accidents and illness 7 days a week 8am-8pm. We can also be your family doctor providing care for patients by appointment Monday to Friday.

About the position The medical receptionist plays a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our clinics, reporting to the clinic manager, you will be the first point of contact for all our patients walking through our clinic's door.
This position is minimum of 32 hours per week on a rotating roster- Monday to Sunday (8am-8pm) which includes day, evening and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities Making all visitors feel welcomedAnswering telephone calls and scheduling appointmentsYou will need to have: Medical Reception experience is preferred but non-essentialStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEnjoy and thrive in a fast-paced & high-pressure environmentFull driver's license and own transport desirableSomeone who is committed to the principles of health equity and cultural competency and who is able to demonstrate an understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
