In addition to our vein to vein service in transfusion we also provide national services in organ transplantation, cellular therapies and tissue banking. About the role Using state-of-the-art technology, the Donation Accreditation team ensures that blood and blood products are safe for clinical use by conducting essential testing.

Key Qualifications and Attributes Registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New ZealandA strong background in working within a regulatory framework.A collaborative spirit capable of enhancing a small, quality-driven team.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and patient care. Prior hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, especially in areas of immunohaematology, quality control, and infectious disease testing, will be highly regarded.Experience in blood banking, immunology, serology, blood grouping, and nucleic acid testing analysers will be advantageous.
