Mechanical Maintenance Engineer * £30,000 - £35,000 * Monday - Friday * No Night Shift * Great Company with long term career potentialWe are currently helping a business in East Lancashire recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer into their team. Opportunities don’t come up often; last time they recruited for this role was over 5 years ago. It’s a great place to work, with excellent staff development and a supportive and effective Management Team.The Role:We’re looking for a Mechanically-Bias Maintenance Engineer. You’ll be working to a Preventative Maintenance Schedule completing tasks as dictated to by that. In addition, you’ll have responsibility for completing some facilities maintenance works too, together with responsibility for working on reactive maintenance as dictated by requirements of the business.Ideally, you’ll come from a similar role within a manufacturing business and be used to: * Completing a range of preventative maintenance on a range of factory machinery * Fitting new parts * Refurbishment of old parts * Fabricating parts using an in-house workshop with full welding facilities * Experience of completing some facilities maintenance around a factory site is preferable but not essential * Working on urgent reactive maintenance as required by the needs of the companyThese are only guidelines, the company have a great training plan in place and will make sure you’re fully trained on their specific equipment and machinery.The Candidate:The ideal candidate is currently working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing business.
