Job DescriptionRole: What you will do:Our Water team in Wellington is fast growing and we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment plants, and water and wastewater conveyancing networks to join us in delivering exciting projects across New Zealand, with a specific focus on the Lower North Island.In this role, you would contribute to the design of various projects, including large municipal wastewater & water treatment plants, commercial onsite treatment systems, community treatment plants, and industrial trade waste treatment systems.As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, this opportunity would see you preparing concept and detailed mechanical engineering designs, producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules on a range of projects.With mentoring from our Senior and Principal Engineers, you would also work in close partnership with the client and contractors through design phases and into construction monitoring.Your contribution will help to continue to grow our presence in the Wellington Region, building client relationships, as well as improve the quality of water and wastewater treatment in New Zealand through the projects we deliver.This role will be pivotal in further developing our existing team.
