Mechanic Technician Golf / Greenkeeping/Winery and Fleet Cars Operations To assist the Golf Superintendent and Vice Superintendent by carrying out the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the Golf , Greenkeeping and Winery mechanical equipment .At all times performing duties in such a manner that promotes safe working practices in an environment that remains pleasant and safe for all guests, tenants and other employees As a Mechanic Technician Golf Operations your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of all equipment and systems within the Golf Operational area. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting repairs as needed, in a timely and efficient manner. Your role is crucial in maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the Resort and all equipment is kept fully functional.Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Full servicing our current fleet of vehicles, annual engine servicing, warrant of fitness pre checks, general maintenance requirements.John Deere and Toro, tractors and other engine servicing to company specifications. General wear and tear maintenance, keeping all mechanical equipment maintained to a very high standard.Responsible for completing repairs and maintenance on all golf, vineyard, fleet and ground cultivation equipment.Working to pre-season maintenance time frames and to a high professional standardHave the scope to suggest improvements that may be beneficial to the reliability of our equipment which further improves the machinery operations.1. Perform Routine Maintenance: - Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of all mechanical golf equipment including ride on mowers, mulcher, sprayers, to identify any maintenance or repair needs. - Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and inspecting electrical systems. - Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of maintenance storage areas and equipment.Keep stock and order of parts and servicing supplies.2. Respond to Maintenance Requests: - Respond promptly to employee requests for maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems to ensure all equipment is maintained and up to working level asap. - Attend to work orders, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely completion of repairs. - Communicate effectively with other departments and team members to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruptions to guests and operations.3. Conduct Repairs and Installations: - Diagnose and repair malfunctions - Install and maintain equipment, fixtures, and appliances within the Golf operations area and Winery when required.4. Ensure Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards. - Comply with all applicable building codes, fire safety regulations, and health department standards.5. Maintain Records and Inventory: - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment maintenance. - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment required for maintenance tasks. Other tasks Complete daily plant rounds to ensure that all systems are functioning correctly and note for repair any equipment that may appear or sound faulty.Complete all job requests in a timely manner.To direct contractors in the execution of their duties. Maintain work vehicles and obtain WOF as requiredAny other such duties that may from time to time be assigned by the Golf Superintendent and Vice Superintendent or the General Manager.
