We have multiple opportunities for full time, permanent employment on our family-orientated plant in Kelfield Place, Hastings. We currently have opportunities on both our dayshift and nightshift for packers to carry out the following tasks:InspectionOffal collection, sorting and packingPreparation and Delivery of Cartons Bulk packing - Sorting and Packing multiple cuts of meat into a boxPrimal Packing - Sorting and Wrapping individual cuts of meatMachine Operation - Use of Gas Flush and Vacuum Pack machinesPack off - Carton Packing and LabellingStrapping - Strapping and SealingWe are looking for the right kind of people to join our team. We have a unique operating environment, so it's really important that candidates are physically fit to safely do our work - ideally you should be able to stand for long periods, be able to move up / down stairs and around machinery, undertake moderate to heavy lifting, wear appropriate safety gear, and potentially operate safely in a wet or cold environment. Candidates also need to be motivated, reliable and have a desire to work 50+ hours a week. We're looking for people who are keen to be part of a successful team; who understand and are willing to do their part for the benefit of the whole team.
