J ob Overview: Ensure production has all the materials required, on time, to be consumed during the production process to meet the demand of our consumers.
Responsibilities & Duties: Create and manage production/bulk schedule based on Corporate planning, using Excel and SAP.
Manage shop/process orders in SAP and re-direct loads to and from external warehouse as needed.
Run reports and analyze data in SAP to determine raw material requirements for future production.
Place material (ingredients, packaging, labels, etc.) orders using EDI (SAP), Fax or email
Plan Inbound and Outbound of Cold Storage items as needed for production needs based on storage requirements.
Request ingredient extensions and submit Disposition Orders (DO's) as needed/required.
Monitor confirmations, emails, and transit reports for raw materials/deliveries by working with the vendors and inbound transportation team.
Manage the cycle count process by processing cogi's, running reports, creating/posting PID's and providing research/background information for counts that exceed posting thresholds.
Update material data in SAP with MDG.
Build forecasts of material requirements using SAP for suppliers and work with the procurement teams to resolve discrepancies.
Manage the return of dunnage materials to the appropriate vendors as required.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) and Yellow Belt projects as assigned.
Provide primary backup coverage to the Receiving(SAP Requirements/emails) and Finished Good Lead positions with secondary coverage to the Shipping Lead role.
Perform all responsibilities safely and in compliance with GMPs.
Perform any other duties as required by supervision.
Qualifications: Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems, SAP experience preferred.
Requires ability to push 75 pounds and lift 50 pounds occasionally without assistance.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English, Spanish also preferred.
Requires written and verbal communication skills.
Must be proactive, able to multitask, evaluate options and make good decisions.
Requires organizational, research, and analytical skills.
