To support these goals, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist with proven attention to detail and ability to deliver. This role is a vital part of the Toitoi Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre team, with your purpose being to liaise and build relationships with promoters, events specialists, ticketing suppliers, HDC and Toitoi staff to ensure all events are marketed accurately and effectively. You will also coordinate and deliver the organisation's marketing plan and digital strategy working closely with HDC Communications. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for a high level of service and will liaise with the Presenter Services Manager and Producer Community Outreach in creating and delivering audience development, stakeholder, and community engagement strategies. Ou wheako –about you: To be successful in the role, you will have: A Degree in marketing or communications qualification and at least 2-3 years' experience working in a marketing, digital marketing, or arts marketing role Experience implementing high-quality marketing and communications plans, ideally in the performing arts, events or arts space Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with Silverstripe or other web-based CMS Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite Experience in analysing and presenting information in a meaningful way Good digital and social media understanding, a hands-on practitioner Experience in working with CRM (Ungerboeck) and ticketing systems (Eventfinda) preferred, though not essential Situated in the heart of Ngati Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke's Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
