Marketing & Communications Professional

MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a leading Belfast based Media group to recruit a Marketing and Communications Professional to join their ambitious Marketing team.The ideal candidate will deliver a variety of high-quality effective marketing and communications campaigns across the media group as well as taking on a team leader role for several junior members of the team. The role will therefore require a strong matrix of management skills.Role Responsibilities:Clearly understand the media group's business objectives to develop a need-based marketing and communications strategy.Ensure key brand messages are effectively communicated in all marketing collateral.Design & deliver marketing and communication plans for projects, campaigns and initiatives.Production, copy writing & proof reading of promotional and marketing materials.Build and grow social media channels ensuring all communications are on brand with the ability to deliver both organic and paid-for strategy.Develop creative solutions and innovative ideas to promote group brands.Assist with the PR process and help to devise a program of PR that delivers positive communicationsIdentify partnership and promotional opportunities for the organisation.Measurement and analysis of activity against pre-defined targets. Be able to draw conclusions and actively make recommendations to drive improvements.Liaise, network and engage with a range of local and national stakeholders including promoters, agents, customers, industry bodies, universities etc.Media Partnerships Responsibilities - Deliver a creative media partnership annual strategy to agreed annual targets & lead on the delivery and execution of presentations and competitive pitchesSponsorship & Promotion ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Programme Manager/or Sales Manager design annual group S&P plan for agency and direct sales teams againstRelationship building with PR agency accounts providing creative ideas for campaigns and executingDraft creative proposals for promotional pitches for the agency and direct sales teamIdeal Candidate:Third level qualification in Marketing, Qualifications Communications or related subject, or three years' experience in a marketing roleThree years' experience in a similar position with relevant brand, PR, media, digital and event management experience.Demonstrable experience of working on simultaneous marketing and communications projects to deadlines.Experience delivering paid-for social strategy.To speak in absolute confidence about this position please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Molly Stevenson, Specialist Consultant at MCS Group on 22.#J-18808-Ljbffr
