Details of the offer

At T?maki Paenga Hira, Auckland War Memorial Museum, the collections, the work we undertake and the experiences we offer, inspire curiosity.
So it comes as no surprise that when we\'re looking for new people to join our team, we\'re looking for professionals who aren\'t just accomplished in terms of the skills they bring, but have an innate passion for the work we do and an appreciation of the place we have in the hearts and minds of Aucklanders.
Post COVID-19, the Museum is flexing towards a different future, which means we\'re going to need to be innovative and agile if we are to meet the ambitious goals we have set for ourselves.
Like all great museums, we spark curiosity about the world in which we live - past, present and future.
Our Brand & Customer Engagement team are focused on sharing the stories of our collections, communities and people and our natural environment.
As one of Auckland\'s leading visitor attractions, now more than ever we want to connect with our Auckland communities and Kiwis right across the country to drive awareness of, and visitation to, our museum.
And of course, we\'re looking forward to welcoming international tourists back to our shores when it\'s safe to do so.
We\'re looking for someone who thrives in a high energy marketing team and who is at their best in a support role. This role is an important one, not just being the backbone of the marketing team but contributing to campaign delivery. You\'ll provide assistance to the Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Manager and Publicist.
With a developing digital skill set, you\'ll have an interest in the more technical aspects of marketing. That is because there\'s website admin and working in a CMS, as well as doing the end-to-end production of emails using a specialist email platform.
You\'ll have experience in producing POS and advertising. You\'ll also be familiar with raising POs and loading invoices. Ideally too, you\'ve had experience in events.
To be successful in this position, you will be:
Experienced in creating and deploying email marketing campaigns
Able to comfortably work in a website CMS
Able to demonstrate an understanding of advertising production
Experienced in financial process management including budget tracking, invoice processing and raising purchase orders
Knowledgeable and experienced in events
Calm working under pressure, well organised and brilliant at thinking on your feet
Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
Willing to be support to a busy marketing team as the role spends a portion of each day on general admin tasks
If you see your next career step being in a social enterprise like Auckland Museum and you have what it takes to help our organisation deliver effective marketing, apply now.
Applications close: Friday 19 June 2020 at 5.00pm, however we reserve the right to bring forward the application deadline.
You must be currently eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this permanent position.
