Marketing Assistant

Penrose, AucklandGreat new marketing role - supporting the market presence of two of New Zealand's strongest brands.Assist in the delivery of marketing and advertising plans for both Smith&Smith® and the Laser Group.Smith&Smith® is New Zealand's leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, and we are owned by the global Belron Group. Together with Laser Group (Electrical and Plumbing) we aim to make a difference with real care.Reporting to our Head of Marketing the role has the key responsibility of executing marketing tasks, including campaign content creation, supporting the Laser Group marketing packages, and assisting in the development of tactical collateral.Other responsibilities include:Liaise with external service providers to ensure material and collateral meet brand guidelines, and are within budget and timeframesAssist with social media channel management and website updatesSupport the Laser Group - keeping the intranet up to date, assist with recruitment advertising, and help develop member newslettersThe key skills and experience that will get you seriously considered for the position:A university qualification would be a nice to have, but not essentialNo less than one year's experience working in a marketing environmentProven ability in taking responsibility, being a self-starter, able to keep several balls in the air at the same time while being able to prioritise your tasks and deliver outstanding resultsHave top class communication skillsBe positive, proactive and very well organisedThis is an exciting role in support of the wider marketing team and will give you the opportunity to have critical involvement and responsibilities in traditional media, events, and in the digital space.If you have determined Marketing is the function you wish to be part of, and become successful, then this is the perfect opportunity to gain a wide range of important skills and experiences from within the operations of two of New Zealand's strongest brands.Applications Close: 25 Nov 2019
