Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) Contract/Temp 12-month fixed term contract, potential to extend Northland Rugby Union is looking for a dynamic individual to join their fast paced Commercial and Marketing team in this newly established position. This is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension. We are in search of a hands-on specialist able to drive key initiatives and campaigns, including Kick Start the Korero, a mental health awareness initiative for 2024. This role offers an exciting environment where each day brings fresh challenges. From supporting in drafting commercial contracts to filming and editing content with our Semco Northland Taniwha squad, versatility is key. Assist both the Commercial Manager and the Marketing Manager Capture exciting moments with players for marketing purposes Use your creativity to engage with fans and promote the brand on social media Collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing campaigns Assist in organising events and sponsor activations Build and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their needs Develop marketing content and campaign calendars Assist in executing gameday marketing activations and capturing content opportunities Website administration and updates Proof read contracts and assist in developing commercial reports This position is not your standard 9-5 and some weekends and evening work will be required.
