We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

The Chief Engineer, the 1st and 2 nd Engineer (who supports the Chief Engineer) manage the mechanical and electrical performance of the vessel's propulsion, fishing, processing and ancillary systems in a safe and efficient manner. These roles works 8hrs on and 8hrs off or 12hrs on and 12hrs off.

A MEC 6, 5 or 4 qualification for 1st and 2nd Engineers & minimum MEC 3 for Chief Engineer
Problem solving skills
People management skills
Ability to build effective working relationships with other staff and external contacts
Commitment to preventative maintenance systems
Ability to monitor internal and external trends pertaining to marine engineering operations
Ability to communicate well and build good relationships
Have proven experience working aboard fishing vessels is essential.
