About the roleThe Maori and Pasifika Trade Training (MPTT) Manager will understand and share the vision of the Toia Mai Excellence Framework with staff, akonga, Te Tiriti partners and community. The MPTT Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, design, coordination, implementation of MPTT workplan and activities. Although the MPTT Manager will primarily advocate for the needs of Maori and Pasifika learners, Te Tiriti partners and Community they also support others to understand how the MPTT equity and Te Tiriti initaitives and outcomes benefit all of our akonga. We would like to talk with you if you have demonstrated experience in building highly effective (internal and external) relationships, have existing relationships in MPTT industry related fields, are an excellent communicator, have managed high performing teams, understand TEC funding requirements and have demonstrated knowledge in the application of tikanga.You will work with executive staff, corporate units, faculty and support staff, external stakeholders and te tiriti partners to improve outcomes for Maori and Pacific as well as industry.
