Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the Company:

Our client, one of the major players in their field, require the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source a Project Engineer to join the team on a full time contract basis for 7 months initially with view to going on longer.
This ultra-modern facility is easily accessible by public transport and has free on-site parking. It is located not far from Melbourne CBD.

About the Role:

Reporting through to the Project Manager this role is responsible for:
Continually improve existing processes
Provide manufacturing data to improve the process and monitor and measure progress
Organise, implement and maintain production process flow
Provide technical solutions to raise issues
Develop working instructions and process documents
Support revision of manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing
Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendations
Work with other department to determine estimated costs

If you have worked in a highly regulated GMP environment then we would love to hear from you.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this position you will have:

A Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent field
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a must
Good knowledge of cell custom build, lean manufacturing, six sigma and ISO methodology
Project planning and resource management skills
