Reporting to the Facility Manager; this vital roleis responsible for the keymanufacturing function within the plant, your focus will be on deliveringperformance results within budget, exceeding customer quality requirements andaccountability for ensuring your team is operating safely at all times. In addition, we require a focus on continuousimprovement within product quality, cost controls and delivery performance.

Your experience in transforming behaviour bydriving positive change will be highly regarded, as will exposure to a fastpaced, high volume production/manufacturing environment (Packaging orFMCG). Ultimately, we are looking forsomeone who is dynamic and thrives on the challenge of improving team performance,whilst challenging the status quo toimprove overall production, productivity and quality and to take the site tothe next level.

This role will require you to:

Actively support the site Health and Safety improvementplan, with a focus on continuing to improve H&S engagement within themanufacturing team. Develop and implement innovative strategies tostandardize and improve processes for all manufacturing operations. Analyse production data to identify problems anddevelop corrective actions. Implement the site training plan. Maintain and improve visual management standards toensure that information is communicated effectively within the team. Ensure all incidents of underperformance areaccurately recorded, including any corrective action taken to support acontinuous improvement in performance. Play an active role in the introduction of newproducts to the site for existing and new customers, ensuring a high level ofattention is paid to quality and manufacturing performance. Ensure employees have individual performance plansto support the achievement of personal and business goals. Develop and maintain relationships with keysuppliers for consumables utilized within the manufacturing area
