Join us as Manufacturing Engineer for the Electrification Business Area where you will be providing necessary maintenance activities to achieve the required level of quality, costs and production capacity for active products. Working with wider R&D and Agile teams for technical input and with good communication to SCM (Supply Chain Management) and Production teams. Contributing to new product developments including assembling prototypes and testing new designs.Reporting to Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this position will be based in Napier, New Zealand.
Your responsibilitiesDeveloping and managing engineering changes in active productsMonitoring product/assembly cost and developing projects for cost savingsManaging technical documents for production (3D, Schematics, BOM, Assembly Procedure)Establishing project specification for productionConverting R&D developments into products for market and readying these for mass productionSupporting for production lines.
