About this role
The Manager, Testing Services ensures the Ministry’s business applications and associated systems are effectively and appropriately tested through the software development lifecycle and into production. Testing capabilities include functional and non-functional testing, regression and performance testing utilising automated toolsets.
About you
To be successful in the role, you’ll be working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders. We’ll count on you to shape, frame and design our processes and thinking using a diverse and inclusive approach.
You will have:
a proven track record of experience and achievement in managing a Testing Services team and/or leading test planning and execution of several large projects
a sound understanding of testing methods and technologies/testing toolsets
demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal clients
customer focus
planning and time management skills
strong oral and written communication.
You will also offer:
a Tertiary qualification in either Business or Information Management or equivalent
experience in working in large scale projects as a Test Lead/Manager
the ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga.
