The Singapore Consortium for Synthetic Biology (SINERGY) is a national platform hosted at A*STAR Consortium Management Office. SINERGY aims to consolidate Singapore's capabilities in synthetic biology and harness synergies across industry sectors to create a vibrant and globally connected bio-based economy in Singapore.We are seeking a self-driven candidate to be part of the team developing innovation partnerships between the various stakeholders in the ecosystem.Duties and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:· Plan and strategize outreach and engagement with industry· Organize and coordinate Consortium's communication strategy· Co-ordinate communication and engagement with the Consortium's academic and industry members· Assist in initiating and facilitating translational research collaborations· Assist in Consortium's industry-IHL/RI interactionsQualifications· Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in biotechnology, life sciences, engineering, or related field from a reputable university· >2 years of working experience in events organization, specifically within the life sciences sector· Possess an understanding of the local biotechnology ecosystem and stakeholders· Excellent organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)· Ability to initiate, coordinate, and finalize projects· Experience in hosting events and presenting in public is an added advantageAgency for Science, Technology and Research About the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is Singapore's lead public sector agency that spearheads economic oriented research to advance scientific discovery and develop innovative technology.
