As the Manager Governance & Assurance (Physical & Personnel Security) you will manage a small team of protective security practitioners responsible for providing hands-on protective security expertise to enable RBNZ to achieve its strategic priorities, meet government mandated security requirements, and achieve a high level of capability maturity. Please note that this is not an IT security role.

To be successful in one of these roles you'll have:
A minimum 5 years' experience in a NZ government security role as a practitioner.Proven recent leadership experience - building, fostering, and enabling a motivated, high performing, collaborative, inclusive and diverse team culture.A deep understanding of the NZ Government's Protective Security Requirements framework.Proficient in performing risk, business impact and control assessments.Strong attention to detail and proven analytical skills to analyse security risks and relate them to appropriate security controls.A credible and dependable subject matter expert accustomed to dealing with the NZ intelligence and security community.A strategic mindset and the ability to think holistically across a broad range of issues.A proven ability to develop and implement plans to promote strategic priorities and objectives.We have a broad range of responsibilities and great opportunities to match people across all stages of careers.
