Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity Our Sector Digital Channels team are working to expand and improve the digital health landscape in Aotearoa. We are the digital transformation partners enabling modern technology solutions that improve the people and whanau experience through equitable access to varying models of care. We are the change agent for national programmes and work with our customers and partners to enable equitable access through both digital self-service and assisted channels and to reduce pressure on the workforce through automation and integration. We are product focused and leverage modern platforms, technologies and ways of working to deliver quality, sustainable and cost-effective products and services. This role has a salary range of: $107,886 - $134,857 - $161,829 As Manager Product Practice, you are a member of the Sector Digital Channels Products leadership team that holds collective accountability for maintaining and enhancing technology services and implementing and supporting Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora priorities. You are leading people (our team of Product Analysts), processes, and technology associated with Product practice. You will support our product teams to have strong alignment with the product operating model. You will support our product team members in the practice to ensure common ways of working in a product centric landscape. Our team is an integral part of our 24/7 Services organisation, spread across New Zealand communities. Our tech landscape is always bustling, serving numerous users and supporting mission-critical applications, from computing and networking to telecommunications and cloud-based services. It's a dynamic and exciting environment, and together with teamwork and collaboration, we're ready to take on any challenge that comes our way. Seasoned experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation. Experience in an ICT product role with a background in product centric delivery including working with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage teams in an environment of change, financial prudence and an increasing level of digital maturity across the organisation. Proven relationship building skills and well-developed communication skills. Proven ability in managing suppliers and vendors. Strong financial management of operational budgets. Ability to apply technical strategies, policies, standards and practices effectively. Demonstrated intuition and the ability to balance good process with the need to make clear decisions in demanding situations such as. priority service outages. Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure. Experience working in the health sector or other Government body. A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
