An opportunity to lead a newly formed team. You lead a team of senior advisers delivering the full breadth of investment advice and services to parties seeking funding. You provide the leadership that makes the function hum internally. You create the environment that provides good experiences for people and organisations seeking funding as well as the panels involved in assessing expressions of interest.

As well as a background in funds and contract management, you:
are an experienced people leader who enjoys shaping and embedding new practices, for a new team, in an evolving environment
know how to deliver effective relationship management and customer service through others
are a strategic thinker able to imagine how things can be done as well as navigating a sensible pathway to successful delivery
are experienced operating at a senior level in the public sector.

Korero mo te turanga | About the role
This role has you engaging and partnering with a broad range of people and organisations as you identify potential investment opportunities and negotiate contracts that will deliver on strategic outcomes. But it doesn't stop there. Once contracts are in place a critical component of this role is to monitor and assess progress against what has been agreed to be delivered.
Korero mou | About you
You are very experienced in the world of contracts, investments and outcomes and an accomplished relationship manager. You are especially well versed in:
knowing how to recognise an investment opportunity
negotiating and managing high-value contracts for a return on investment
knowing how to monitor outcomes, including initiating difficult conversations about delivery
operating at a senior level in the public sector.
