Manager, Group Finance and IT This is a strategic IT partnering role under Group Finance to assist in providing oversight on the organisation's IT investment and spending. The incumbent will be working closely with various IT and Finance stakeholders including GCIO Office and the Ministry to manage and track the level of IT spending to optimise return on IT investment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Finance Director in providing oversight on strategic IT spend; Perform IT Budget reviews, spend analysis and reporting; Partake in national level project costing and pricing as cluster representative; Propose and negotiate transfer pricing and cost allocation of IT spend across participating institution members; Work with GCIO Office to monitor and track IT investment returns, cost savings/ avoidance and post-implementation reviews of IT projects. Work with Group Finance and GCIO Office on IT governance matters such as authorisation limits review and related policy setting. Other than the IT function, this role also provides opportunity to be involved in financial management review of selected subsidary of the organisation, for which the key responsibilities include: Budget reviews; Review of subsidiary's monthly management reporting and performance of analysis. Requirements: Education/Training/Experience A good, recognized degree in accountancy or equivalent. At least more than 5 years of relevant working experience. Fluent in writing and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in the healthcare industry or IT Finance would be an advantage. Personal Attributes Possess an analytical and inquisitive mind. Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills. Good interpersonal/communication and planning/coordination skills. Able to provide guidance and motivate team members to work together to meet deadlines and key deliverables. Able to work with details and deliver under pressure.
