As our Management Accountant for our Central distribution region and based in Hamilton, you'll be the trusted advisor and partner with Contracting operations and delivery managers to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved, even surpassed and strategic opportunities are seized. You'll analyse trends, address potential issues and offer solutions while handling month-end reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities across the region.Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our shared objectives forward. You will need to demonstrate the following:-Executing month-end processes and generating insightful reports-Assisting in budget preparation and forecasting-Contributing to strategic financial planning-Providing essential analysis to support decision-making-Ensuring financial integrity through reconciliations and regulatory reporting.What's in it for you?We prioritize a positive, supportive workplace where collaboration thrives. You will also have:-Proven financial management experience-Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs-Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative working relationships-Excellent numerical and analytical abilities, coupled with business acumen-Attention to detail for accurate financial analysis-Experience with ERP/MRP systems like SAP/JDE (preferred)-A proactive approach to process improvement and promoting financial understanding-Ability to anticipate challenges, meet deadlines, and advocate for best practices.
