You're an experienced financial accountant who's looking for an opportunity to own all things finance. You could be someone who's worked in one of the big four and is now looking to own the whole finance function or someone who is seeking a step up or change. You have a degree in finance , commerce, or a related field, have at least five years' experience in a relevant financial role. You've got your CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification and have been practising as a CA for at least the last five years . You're keen to work on all things finance and to own your role while working both autonomously and as part of a small team. You'll be great at problem-solving, devising and implementing new strategies and processes, while operating with end-to-end excellence. You will be a support person for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and General Manager and a safe pair of hands who can be trusted to get tasks done in a timely manner and to a high standard. You will handle a number of different financial tasks and be able to work in in an agile and flexible way while simultaneously maintaining your accuracy. You will be involved in supporting the business across a range of financial activities including month end, reporting, productivity reports, maintaining financial systems, recording, and processing financial information and other finance tasks to support our communications consultants with accurate and timely budget management. Payroll experience is a must as is experience with Xero. You will be comfortable working closely and regularly with the whole team and be able to establish and build positive relationships with your peers. You'll add to the company culture and develop your skills and experience to grow the role and your contributions. You're happy to get stuck in when called upon to do tasks outside of the 'day to day' job description. We are looking for someone who can start in February 2024 and is looking to work for 32 hours a week. We work in the office two days a week and from home/remotely for the rest of the week.
