Makerspace Coordinator

Do you want to work in an environment which gives our community the tools to make their ideas come to life? As the Makerspace Coordinator, you will facilitate the development and delivery of makerspace programmes and activities.
Blueprint: The City Library Makerspace is where anyone can learn how to create and share whatever their imagination can conjure using the latest in fabrication technology, design software and creative tools. We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to life-long learning and has an interest in supporting individuals and communities to achieve their aspirations.
You will have experience in the development and delivery of creative learning programmes, initiatives and projects; and be able to take a concept and adapt your teaching style to suit the audience. Your knowledge base of the equipment in Blueprint, and ability to work in certain ways with different equipment will enable you to assist a wide range of customers.
Being safety-conscious and having the ability to communicate clearly is essential in this role as you work to create a safe learning environment.
This role is for 40 hours per week worked between Tuesday to Saturday to ensure there is adequate coverage across the days and hours that Blueprint: The City Library Makerspace is open.
