Do you enjoy working with vehicles? Do you have some mechanical knowledge? If so, then this might be the job for you! Some of your key qualities will include: Pays real attention to detail. Take pride in your work and be willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in and help wherever needed. 12-volt electrical, and electronics experience, mechanical skills & knowledge would be an advantage. Restricted Driver's License is a minimum requirement. Experience in areas such as plumbing, gas fitting, electrical or carpentry (optional). Flexibility to work on the roster, which may include weekend or public holidays. Highly tuned attention to detail. Willingness to learn new tasks/skills. Appreciation for quality assurance. Your role will involve: Full Time role, based at our Queenstown branch near the airport. Ensure all vehicles returning from hire or being made ready for sale are checked and maintained to thl standards Carry out pre-hire checks on thl vehicles to identify any mechanical or interior issues Repair interior vehicle issues/faults to required thl standards Conduct basic mechanical repairs to various makes and models of thl fleet Participate and lead training & development activities to improve personal and team knowledge and service provision Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration.
