Maintenance Technician - Dresssmart Hornby

THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Dress-Smart Hornby for an ex-tradesperson / maintenance person to support the Facilities Manager to ensure that the property is maintained to a high standard of functionality.  
As Maintenance Technician you will be working 4 hours a day across 5 days (we are flexible as to what hours per day per week from Monday through to Friday), you'll be responsible for monitoring and managing all minor repairs and maintenance works to ensure the facilities in the buildings are functioning and well maintained. You'll have a strong Health and Safety focus and your strength will be diagnosing an issue to determine whether you can resolve it yourself (being hands on with repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, installing basic fixings, basic plumbing, etc) or whether you escalate to an external contractor (via the Facilities Manager).
LIGIBILITY CRITERIA
As an experienced tradesperson (or similar), you love being hands-on, but have strong communication and project management skills. You're organised and used to overseeing various workstreams, with a focus on a quality end-result.
