The Role of a Maintenance Supervisor is a vital part to ensure the smooth running of our Lorneville Plant, reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the key responsibilities of the role include: Leading and supporting a team of Electricians and Automation Specialists. Ensuring the sound operation of all electrical installations and equipment. Managing preventative electrical maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs services throughout the plant. Monitor prestart checks on machinery, diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems and replacement of damage and/or defective components to ensure minimum downtime to business. Being a key stakeholder in a variety of electrical and automation projects. Liaising with and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Monday to Friday roster, with overtime and some weekend work required. Nga painga - what's in it for you? On offer is: Competitive Salary with a minimum of $45 an hour and a maximum of $60 an hour with generous allowances Health insurance subsidies for you and your family Work Life Balance with 5 Weeks of Annual Leave Ongoing Support and Training On Site Health Services, including counselling, nurse and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) You will have hands-on experience with leading and developing teams, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, alongside: A Electrical Engineering Degree (Advantageous) or A current NZ Electrical registration and practicing licence Demonstrated experience in planning and performing preventative electrical maintenance Experience with PLC's, electrical motors, control circuits, and lighting as well as 400-volt ring mains and associated distribution systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to report and advise to a high level (senior management) if required Proven ability in safety leadership Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite and maintenance CMMS Software experience.
