Job Description About the role: We seek a Maintenance Fitter for our manufacturing plant located in Mangere. Working with the Maintenance team, your core role is to carry out scheduled maintenance as well as diagnosis and repair of unscheduled stops. You will also play a vital part in in risk assessments and safety plans for new installations, covering both installation and operation. We are always looking for ways to improve our process so someone with a continuous improvement mindset will fit right in.
This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at 6.45am to 3.15pm with some overtime may be available. 
Qualifications What you will bring to the role. Along with a National Certificate Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering or relevant apprenticeship. A recently qualified mechanical apprentice who would like to develop maintenance and repair abilities would be considered. Electrical knowledge and or registration is desirable but not essential.
You will be self- motivated, enjoy working with a team as well as alongside contractors. You will have an analytical approach to problem solving, the proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and have a solution focused mindset.
You will be quality focused with good attention to detail and always have safety at the heart of all you do. You will need to be punctual and possess good timekeeping capabilities.
