Once the sun goes down and the office staff have gone home, you will have the large manufacturing site to yourself to methodically work through a prescribed list of routine preventative maintenance tasks and small engineering projects.The night shift runs 11:10 PM to 7:10 AM Sunday to Friday morning.Key Responsibilities:Conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Working with the production team to identify and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Participating in equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects, ensuring that equipment is installed and commissioned to meet safety and quality standards.Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records.Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies.Qualifications and Skills:Trade Certified Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role in a manufacturing environment ideally in FMCG, Packaging or Large scale manufacturingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.What's on offer?On offer is a competitive base hourly rate north of $40/h+ which is supplemented with a shift and trade allowances.
