Maintenance Assistant

We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain all Farro sites' amenities and equipment to the highest standard, reporting to our Facilities Manager. This is a permanent full time role, working 36 hours per week across Wednesday to Saturday. The role will involve driving our Farro truck to transport stock around our stores, completing maintenance tasks, and resolving planned and unplanned facilities issues. ' We are looking for someone who has a Forklift license, previous experience with building and repairs, painting, gib repairs, water blasting, cleaning. You would also have the ability to assist afterhours with issues and help with callouts and use appropriate PPE and follow H&S procedures.  What we need from you: A valid NZ drivers license and confidence driving a large vehicleDetail-focused and analytical problem solving skillsComfortable working in a physically demanding roleAbility to work independently and manage tasks from start to finishCommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
