Machine Operators Needed! Port Melbourne Location

Our client is a flexible cable specialist that operates a global network of strategically located sales offices, warehouses and factories.
They have been established since 1978 and are continuing to grow at a rapid pace.
The company is undergoing huge growth, we are now seeking Extruder/Machine Operators to make an immediate start to meet their increased production demands. You will be based at their Port Melbourne site and be working with their large team of experienced operators. You will learn transferable skills that will enable future career progression. The company prides itself on career development and its close team cohesion. You'll be working for a supervisor who is supportive and encourages work-life balance!
To be considered for these positions we would like for you to have the following skills/abilities:

Ability to work rotating shift (2 days on day shift, 2 days on night shift, 4 days off - 12 hours per shift)
Can commit to working 48-60 hours per week.
You have previous machine operating/manufacturing experience (extruder operating preferred)
Happy to work for $27 per hour on Day shift and $31 per hour on Evening shift
Available to work weekends as well as weekdays
Can commit to a long term job opportunity (this may lead to full time work within 4-6 months)
Forklift Licence is essential
Come with a hard work ethic and laser focus
