Machine Operator

This role will be a minimum of 30 - 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $29 - $30 per hour.  Reporting directly to the Orchard Manager you will be responsible for: Operating machinery in a safe and professional mannerAbiding by all safe operating proceduresPerforming pre-start and maintenance checks daily and when requiredEnforcing safety procedures within the teamCompleting H&S documentation where requiredMowing, mulching and sprayingMaintaining equipment, machinery and the yard to endure they're in a clean and orderly stateSafely utilise all orchard machinery Attend safety meetings and training classes as scheduled To be considered for this role you must: Have reliable transport or be planning to relocate before starting the roleAt least 6 months of experience working with machinery whether employed in a similar role or proven farm experience on your own farm. Able to work across all three regions for work with a week's notice. Our orchards are strictly smoke/vape free, must be able to pass a police check and be trustworthy.
