Machine Operator

Full-time position available for a Machine Operator specialist with immediate start. Based in Silverdale, Auckland. Elemental Solutions Group Ltd t/a Tanksalot is a manufacturer of premium, sustainable rainwater storage solutions and related products. We are looking for a positive and motivated person to help move this growing business forward. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Primary work is in riveting and operating specialist tools and machinery for the use in steel tank manufacture; 2. Application of food grade silicone for sealing of tanks; 3. Product assembly; 4. Quality control checks; 5. General yard tasks and assisting with truck loading/unloading; Job Requirements • Minimum 3 months relevant experience; operation of HENROB Self Riveting (Hydraulic) Machinery is an advantage • Strong communication skills (English). • Experience working with corrugated steel and sheet metals. • Confident in the safe use of a large range of hand and power tools. • Must have own reliable transport to get to and from work. • Must be physically fit, agile and healthy enough to perform the duties as described. • Health and safety awareness. • Knowledge of Worksite Safety rules. This is a full time permanent position with regular hours at 39.5 hours per week from Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Overtime is sometimes available / expected from time to time. Starting hourly rate is $ 29.75 per hour
