As a LossPrevention Specialist, you would work closely with our security team, focusingon preventing loss as well as maintaining a presence to keep our customers andstaff safe.The position is permanent, full time (30 hours per week) on arostered basis. We require security cover across all 7 days, and over all our trading hours (7am - 9pm), so rostered shifts will vary, however the roster will be set at least 3 weeks in advance.
The Role; The positionwill have an operational focus, a people focus and a health and safetyfocus.Reporting to the Security Manager, the role involves regularly completing floor walks, monitoring CCTV footage, liaising regularly with employees, andhandling all steps relating to the apprehension and processing of shoplifters.You may assistin coordinating employee training in areas such as conflict resolution andemergency scenario training.Ensuring allappropriate paperwork and record keeping is completed including preparingsecurity reports for internal and external agencies.AboutYou; We arelooking for someone that is driven to succeed in this role, that displaysdiscretion, a positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with staff and customers.
