Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)They are one of NZ's leading supplier of Exhaust & Emission Components in New Zealand, building our business on providing superior customer service through our quality people and broad product range.We are seeking a Logistics Manager for the management of our national sales and distribution network. Reporting to the Division Manager, the role includes the responsibility for national inventory and the supply chain management from local & overseas suppliers through to our four branches across New Zealand as well as assisting with the warehouse functions and customer service when required.You will be a 'hands-on' person, strongly customer-focused, thrive on accuracy, autonomy, commitment and responsibility, and understand the need for growth in today's business environment.The primary objective of this position is to manage the full supply chain via the purchasing and management of stock to meet customer demand, product quality and service levels, whilst based in Penrose and working primarily Monday to Friday.Reporting through to the Division Manager in Auckland the position involves:Product sourcing from local & overseas suppliersForecasting demand and the purchasing of stockThe management of the inbound logistics supply chainWarehouse management of physical stock and systemsStock allocation to multiple sites and remote management of stockManaging inwards goods ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goodsManaging inventory including cyclical stock takesSupervise a small warehouse team and assisting with warehouse/customer service duties as necessary *Excellent computerised systems managementYou should also have experience in: *Maintaining and establishing proactive supplier and customer contact *Ensuring orders are processed and dispatched accurately and promptly *Working with the national customer service and branch teams *Ensuring all warehouse presentations is of a high standardIn return you will be provided with a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to grow within a company with a fun and positive culture.If you can demonstrate the relevant skills, experience and drive we would love to hear from you !Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a Logistics Manager?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?Do you have experience with inventory management?Do you have some knowledge of the automotive industry.Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
