Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. If you like to work in a fast - paced environment with customer satisfaction being at the forefront of what you do, read on.
Working as part of a small team, this role has three key accountabilities.
Administration of inventory replenishment orders into our Subsidiary companies - This covers the review of demand requirements, preparation of all relevant export documentation, booking of consignments with freight forwarders, monitoring of shipments and providing regular feedback to Subsidiary representatives, monitoring of stock levels and working within agreed days coverage of inventory.
Performance monitoring of our freight forwarders - Covering the review of freight costs and transportation rates, streamlining shipping and transportation processes and reporting of relevant KPI’s and issues to Supply Chain and Procurement management.
Backup support to the Procurement Team on the administration of import purchases.
We require a highly organised team member who can work under strict deadlines, is not averse to change and is a lateral thinker with high attention to detail. You will have previous experience in customer service, order processing and Supply Chain knowledge. Your numerical & systems ability and communication skills will be first class. Ideally, you’ll be familiar with SAP and have knowledge of import/ export logistics and operations. More importantly you will bring a high degree of energy, flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment to learn.
