About the role As a Lift Fitter Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the responsible for the full installation phase of all New Installations/ Modernisations (Lift, Escalators and Dumbwaiters) as well as the commissioning and acceptance testing of lifts & escalators across our customer sites. Your key accountabilities include: Ensuring that the Quality assurance, process, technical aspects of the Customer's specification and local codes and regulations requirements for new installations/ Modernisations are met. Completing quality checks & reporting non-conformances Ensuring work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is up to date What we are looking for: You will ideally have previous experience in the lift industry in a similar role and a working knowledge of the lift codes and standards. You will also possess: A current electrical licence Eligibility to work permanently in New Zealand (citizen or permanent resident) NZ Driver's license Outstanding communication skills and customer service etiquette Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure An uncompromising commitment to quality work and safety policies and procedures What's in it for you: Competitive base (Depending on qualification and industry experience): $72,000-88,000 Company vehicle Annual Bonus Employee of the month & year recognition with rewards Long service recognition and reward program Potential for real growth both personally and professionally Opportunity to access educational support and social activities
