For this role, you must have: a strong knowledge of local government law the ability to make decisive decisions in both pressure situations and times of change excellent communication, negotiation, and strong influencing skills a passion for contract, procurement, or property law previous experience as in-house counsel (it's also for you if you don't meet EVERY one of these points.
