About the Firm Fluid Legal is delighted to extend our search for this new and exciting opportunity in the Christchurch market, exclusively on behalf of our client, accepting expressions of interest from all experienced Legal Executives with a special interest in estate administration and private client matters.

About The Opportunity This role will work alongside senior authors and consultants in the team, with a specific focus on Estate Administration outside of your standard Property and Private Client work.
This will include, but is not limited to:
Drafting Wills, Trusts, and EPOAs. Estate Administration, including management of the distribution of assets while liaising with clients and beneficiaries. Developing and drafting comprehensive Estate plans, with the guidance of senior authors. Residential and commercial conveyancing, including Kaianga Ora shareholder agreements and assisting first-home buyers. Assisting commercial clients across commercial conveyancing and leasing, as well as subdivision support. Drafting and negotiating S&P agreements on behalf of clients. Liaise with banks, accountants, opposing parties and agents to facilitate a smooth and seamless process. Financial and taxation advisory support, including refinancing mortgages. Ensuring compliance at all times, including advisory support on NZ Trust Law. Document management and administration. This is an opportunity to expand your skillset with an unmatched tight-knit team. You will be granted trust, mentorship and autonomy to build lasting relationships as a trusted advisor in this space.
About You Due to the busy nature of the firm, 2 + years of prior conveyancing and estate administration experience are essential, ideally operating in a fee-earning capacity.
This firm is an extremely down-to-earth and high performing tight-knit team, so you will be integral in creating and maintaining the firm's culture as they continue to grow their Christchurch offering. You will be articulate, have a high attention to detail, and an exceptional communicator with a positive 'can-do' attitude and great sense of humor.
