The School of Undergraduate Studies is seeking a Lecturer to deliver the NZ Certificate in Hauora/Health and Wellbeing Level 2. The role includes teaching, and other general academic and administration work.
You will also recruit students onto the Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2 with a view to bridging students to levels 3 and 4 of the Certificate, and on to Bachelor programmes.
Our successful candidate will have:
A minimum of a relevant Bachelors' Degree.An adult teaching qualification.Previous tertiary teaching experience.Experience in the delivery of the prescribed course and programmes, including advanced tertiary study, career and computer and online learning skills, Te Reo me ona Tikanga, individual career and study planning and goal setting, and knowledge systems.Demonstrated excellence in teaching, using a variety of skills and ranges of methodologies and techniques.Experienced in monitoring, assessing and delivery of papers within academic programmes.Demonstrated strong links and relationships with relevant stakeholders including schools, iwi and hapu networks.We offer a supportive working environment in which ongoing professional development is highly valued and encouraged.
