We offer a stimulating teaching, research and professional working environment in one of our three campuses: our beautiful main campus in Whakatane, Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland).  We are looking for a dynamic Lecturer to join our Bachelor of Humanities team and assist student learning by teaching in the discipline areas of Maori Studies Policy and Indigenous Studies.  Applicants with relevant stakeholder networks, excellence in teaching, and an interest in critical and social theory will do well in this position. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and implement quality teaching and learning experiences for students.  This will include setting relevant, appropriate and timely assessments, and providing academic support and pastoral care, with a strong focus on student success and achievement.  As a significant component of the programme is delivered online, you will have experience and a passion for blended learning.  Our successful applicants will have:  Tertiary teaching experience to Masters level and a teaching qualification. Appropriate and relevant Masters or higher qualification.  Experience in delivery of the prescribed courses and programmes, particularly in the disciplines of Maori Studies, and Indigenous Business, Policy, and Indigenous Studies. Proven research capabilities. A record of ongoing professional development.
