This is a fantastic 'foot-in-the-door' job if you are interested in getting involved in the Sport and Recreation industry. You will work in the pool giving 'learn to swim' teaching lessons to groups of our community. In this role you will get to work with people from all ages, starting at 6 months through to adults.  We are currently looking for a Learn to Swim Instructor that focuses on working with babies and toddlers.  Full training is provided, (including First Aid) so you'll have everything you need to succeed.  We operate our Babies and Toddler classes on Monday, Thursday and Sunday mornings between 9:15 am – 1:15 pm (Monday and Thursday) and 8:45 am to 1:45 pm Sundays, the ideal candidate would be available for two out of the three days. He korero mou: About you Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but it's not essential. Full training is provided. You should be comfortable being in and swimming in the water, and working will all members of the community.
