Our client is a New Zealand-based company that provides a wide range of civil construction and maintenance services and is now one of the leading roading civil and road construction companies in the country. 

At present, we are looking for a Leading Hand – Machine Operator with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. 

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:  Supervising & Organising Staff Workloads Operate Allocated Machinery: Plate Compactor, Chainsaw, Small Tools, WTR Drive Class 2 Trucks Culvert And Drainage Maintenance, Cleaning & Minor Structural Work Pavement & Footpath Maintenance - Potholes, Crack Sealing, Shovel Repairs Sweeping, Clearing Of Plant Matter & Tree Trimming General Duties As Required The successful candidate must have a valid Class 2 license with WTR endorsement. Must pass a pre-employment drug test, MOJ check or medical if necessary. Prior experience is an advantage. Open to NZ Citizens, Residents and open working visas.
